Flexible Tailored Training Sessions

Using our vehicles or your own vehicle, CapitalHVDT will provide comprehensive training that is tailored to each individual student. These training sessions are generally catered towards trainees who are coordinating their training around their work or family commitments.

CapitalHVDT offers training courses in LR,MR, HR and Combination vehicles. If further training is required before the student is deemed competent, this can also be arranged, with an eye on keeping the blood pressure at a minimum.

Verification Of Competencies (Company Vehicles)

We can provide a discreet and confidential Verification Of Competency (VOC) for your staff members, if you have been receiving phone calls about bad driving practices or their driving style is costing you money in repairs. Remember, it is your name and reputation on display!!!

This involves a Trainer/Assessor riding shotgun with staff members as they go about their business, with an eye on correcting bad habits, education on safe driving practices and assessment on their overall conduct, whilst behind the wheel.

1 Day Course

CHVDT offers 1 day training courses in LR,MR, HR, HC vehicles. MR (synchromesh) and HR (auto, non-synchro or synchromesh) are typically completed in 1 day. Students who have considerable experience in driving non-synchromesh vehicles may wish to complete their HR/HC training in one day. Please contact us to further discuss your specific requirements.

2 Day Course

CHVDT delivers a 2 day training course for students who have little or no experience in HC and MC vehicles. This provides a suitable amount of training time and enables the student to complete a full day of training followed by a good nights rest before continuing training and then their driving assessment.

Commercial Clients

CHVDT can tailor training packages to meet the needs of commercial clients. Commercial clients can use CHVDT vehicles or provide a company vehicle. CHVDT will travel to your site and deliver the training and assessment from your yard. To further discuss your company requirements please contact us.

Transport Company Training

CHVDT's driver training is practical and focused towards developing drivers for the 'real world'. CHVDT's training programs allow drivers the opportunity to drive a working vehicle, through a range of varying driving environments as required by the employer. CHVDT can provide local, refresher training or develop more specialised driver training courses encompassing steep decent (Clyde or Brown Mountain), snow driving, country roads or urban environments.
